DAL is a UK based company formed in 1979, to provide "Supportive and Intervention Management" to a variety of Public and Private Companies.
The Software Systems Division was formed in 1992 to produce and implement software solutions in the Land and Property Marketplace.
In 1993, the Systems Division won the contract to support and enhance the Botswana Government's Land Information System (BLIS) and in 1995 -96 converted the system from the ICL Mainframe PLANES System to a Unix hosted Oracle System.
During this time, the company developed
LandFlow, a PC Network based Windows System for the control and monitoring of Land and Property based workflow systems.The LandFlow System was developed in Superbase95 linked to Digital Mapping using MapInfo and has been installed at Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council, in the Building Control and Development Control departments.
